Exercise During Pregnancy (#1)Category: Body by Becky | Permalink Published: Thursday, April 08, 2010 Almost every week, I'm approached by a member asking me about whether or not exercise is "OK" during pregnancy. Seeing as how I haven't had children yet, I decided to do a little research. The first myth I've come across is that it is NOT OK to start exercising when you are pregnant if it is not something your body is used to. Now, before even doing the research, I used a little common sense: would it kill you to go for a walk everyday? No. Maybe the walk would become more tiresome six or seven months down the road (considering you've gained 40 or more pounds), but the only real downfall would be a few blisters on your feet due to swelling (which is completely normal). Becky's advice for the day: Listen to your body. Go for walks when you're pregnant.
