In recent studies, researchers say "It looks more and more like the positive stress of exercise prepares cells and structures and pathways within the brain so that they're more equipped to handle stress in other forms."  These stress-reducing changes don't happen overnight, however researchers agree that something happens between that 3 and 6 week period.  So don't quit once you feel these calming results, you'll be hooked!
